Soda of the Week: Bubble Up

Bubble Up was first made the same year as our popcorn truck, 1917! It was produced by the Sweet Valley Products Company in Ohio. Subsequently, it was owned by the Bubble Up Company in Chicago. I think this is why Bubble Up is very popular in this part of the county, many people come into the store with decades of memories sipping Bubble Up after a baseball game.
It tastes very similar to 7-Up, but Bubble Up predates 7-Up by about 10 years! The tag line... "A kiss of Lemon, A kiss of Lime".

  1. Made the trek to Homer on Friday to buy sugar cane soda. So excited - we have a corn allergy in my family so can't drink most of the usual stuff in stores. Well... can only buy single bottles for $2/each. No quantity discount or case pricing. Just a small display on the wall of a small children's consignment shop.

  2. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience! We have lots of soda that are made with cane sugar. Actually, most of them are made with cane sugar. The $2 reflects the cost of shipping in these soda from all around the nation (our price is much lower than the listed prices on their websites for most product). We do offer a 10% off case discount!
The display may look small, but it contains 200+ different flavors of soda. Trust me, I just did an 11 page inventory of the shelving! I only display about 8 sodas of each kind, the rest are in storage to keep the clutter down.
I hope that you decide to come back sometime and that you have a better experience!
    Happy New Year!
